I had a very pleasant experience with Pinoy's staff. I need wheat free & dairy free/vegan food & they were patient when I was explaining to them my requirements, were able to offer a few dishes & double-checked ingredients of their components to make sure there was nothing in them I couldn't have. They ina way put together a bespoke dish for me, but from ingredients they typically have available, which I was grateful for. I would have appreciated if there was an allergy menu available online to check ahead for wheat free dishes, but the experience of chatting to staff was pleasant & reassuring. The food was very tasty, well-seasoned, & full of varies ingredients.
Very authentic Filipino food highly recommended we had dinuguan pansit bihon turon and maja blanca everything is delish. A must visit!!!!
chicken Inasal :come with 3 piece of chicken , the chicken drumsticks and thighs was too dry . And The rice too oily . Beef soup : come with 2 big pieces of beef , so soft and tender, melt in the mouth, also give u rice , was tasty , recommended. Good value for the price . We will come back for the beef soup !
As a Filipino, their food is legit and delicious. We ordered sinigang, lechon kawali and pork sisig. My favorite is the sisig, it flavorful and crispy and it was served in a sizzling plate. The pricing is reasonable. The employees are nice.
Absolutely wonderful, tasty and always freshly prepared Philippine food!! Friendly service and good prices compared to portion sizes!
I wanted to try Filipino cusine for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised to be honest. The Sisig was served on hot plate with egg still cooking, making it look really professional. Despite quite long waiting time I have nothing negative to say. The taste was interesting in a great way and I enjoyed this different type of food experience.
Came to this place twice in a row! First visit we had Crispy pata and lechon kawali and garlic fried rice. Food was great but the fried rice was a bit cold so I told them to warm it and so they did. Next visit we had sisig and pork BBQ which so tasty. And for dessert we had turon…so delicious.
It is a bonus to find out that there are more than 2 Filipino restaurants in Malta. This restaurant is located in a food court in Valetta. I tried 2 dishes: sizzling pusit and sizzling sisig. My husband ordered the inasal chicken which he likes and have always like in the Pinoy cuisine. This is a must to try for those who have not tasted Filipino dishes. I find the sizzling pusit a bit spicy. The chef added red chilis. The sizzling sisig was a bit too fatty for me. Maybe I will chose chicken next time instead so as not to spike my cholesterol. The common toilet here needs a code to enter. So pay first your order. You will see the code in your receipt. Friendly staff in this Pinoy restaurant.
